WHAT: Special VIP luncheon for 250 kids from the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club in the Bronx, where special guests including "surprise" sports figures, celebrities and VIP guests will be on hand. This press conference will serve as the platform to announce the new date for the Peace, Unity & Hope Concert featuring internationally renowned musician, singer and songwriter from Puerto Rico Jose Feliciano, New York baseball legend Bernie Williams & Friends, and the play "The Boy of Steel ... Drama in the Bronx" based on Ray Negron's New York Times best-selling children's book, to be held at Utopia's Paradise Theater on Saturday, September 22, 2007

WHY: During this VIP by invitation only press luncheon, "The Boy of Steel" and Peace, Unity & Hope Inc. will be announcing their upcoming event with the new date change. In addition, a special presentation will be made to Yankees Pitcher Chien-Ming Wang for his contributions to New York and Brian Cashman (Senior VP & General Manager of the New York Yankees) for the enhancement of community relations throughout the tri-state area. Also, Ms. Adele Smithers, President of The Christopher D. Smithers Foundation, will make a special presentation to the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. Ms. Smithers will also be recognized as the "Mother of Recovery." The lunch will be sponsored by Redbull, Fratelli's Marketplace, Bruce's Bakery, Delicioso Coco Helado, Harper Collins Children's Books, Bronx Chamber of Commerce, Platinum Party Designs, Utopia's Paradise Theater, Amor (93.1FM), and El Especial/El Especialito.

"It's always a thrill and warms my heart when I observe successful individuals like Chien-Ming Wang, Adele Smithers, Brian Cashman and Ray Negron to take time out to not only give back, but to be an example to others who should. It's an honor for KipsBay to be associated with these caring individuals," said Daniel Quintero, Executive Director of the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. Quintero, along with Ray Negron and Scott Clark, will be responsible for awarding these great individuals.

A special performance by the children of the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club will take place. In addition, singer Xiomara Medina will grace us with her talented voice. Comedian/actor Joey Vega will be the master of ceremonies.

Parece como una maldición, pero ya son varias las protagonistas del imperio de Disney que, queriendo o no queriendo, muestran sus encantos al mundo, como ya lo hizo Vanessa Hudgens o Miley Cyrus y en esta ocasión es el turno de Adrienne Bailon , la protagonista de las Cheetah Girls . Segun informó Esmas.com, ya circulan en Internet las fotos robadas de la joven en las cuales posa semidesnuda. Las fotografías fueron robadas de su computadora personal. La estrella juvenil de 25 años, desconoce quiénes son los autores del robo, sin embargo, sabe que se llevó a cabo en el Aeropuerto Internacional JFK la semana pasada. Se dice que una persona ajena a la familia exigió una recompensa de mil dólares a cambio de la computadora. El abogado de Bailon asegura que se tomarán medidas legales en contra de quien resulte responsable, pues días después de que se pagaran el rescate de la máquina, fotos íntimas de Bailon circularon en la red.
